Our Journey to Now
When Mike and I christened our first daughter Stephanie Anastasia Jacqueline I never would have imagined that she would one day be my partner in business and we would be launching our SA brand! I also never would have imagined that I would be a widow at such a young age and that I would come to a crossroads in my life with my husband and business partner's passing. I didn't know at the time if I wanted to continue running the business that we had started 20 years ago - I was truly a little lost and full of grief. Steffi had become an accredited florist just before Mike's passing and Mike and I were both astonished at her passion and designs. Our first editorial (Cameo) is featured on our brand new website and I am so proud! After Mike's passing Steffi continued to take flower courses and I was astonished at the number and size of weddings she was booking with our clients. Everyone who meets her loves her passion, enthusiasm and dedication to customer service. I watch her carefully create all her budgets and spread sheets, contact suppliers, hand select all her blooms and take such pride in creating her designs with a watchful eye on her design lines and quality of blooms. In December we were contacted by Elegant Wedding to say that our styled shoot had been published by them!
